When I was being trafficked my emotions were always crazy.
I never really understood what I was feeling at the time. Being that my pimp was my mother I didn’t really know that it was happening. My self-confidence on a daily basis was constantly going down. At the time I didn't feel like I deserved anything better. Overcoming trafficking is not a fast thing, it takes time and effort. There will always be times where you think that there isn’t anything besides that lifestyle, however there is a way out. The most important thing is love and support. I thank God because I could have never done it without Into The Light.
