Education and awareness shed light on the dark reality of sex trafficking. Into the Light strives to educate communities, churches, first-responders, and law-enforcement on understanding and identifying sex trafficking victims. Using the ENLIGHTENED presentation, our Juvenile Detention Outreach team educates high-risk children on avoiding the tricks and traps sex traffickers use to lure their victims.
Victims are identified through the presentation of the ENLIGHTENED program and our partnerships with juvenile detention centers, the juvenile justice system and other organizations engaging high risk youth . Into the Light works closely with law enforcement to provide vital information to assist them in finding the predators. Our first-responder trainings allow for individuals on the front-lines to better understand sex trafficking and how to quickly identify a victim.
Once victims have been identified, we work as advocates for survivors by assisting the juvenile justice system in finding the resources they need to place them on the path to healing.
"If prayer is a priority in your life"
While human sex trafficking is a dark issue, we are confident that Christ came to shed light on this darkness. We need committed prayer warriors who will develop a monthly prayer meeting, call the church to prayer, and organize and distribute prayer needs to our committed prayer partners.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. - Ephesians 6:12
